THOMSON SAFARIS has offered private & custom safaris in Tanzania for over 25 years. Tanzania is our only business. Destinations include Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Serengeti, Selous Game Reserve, Olduvai Gorge, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park and Zanzibar.

We’re passionate about sharing a land we know and love. We design our own safaris and run them from our local office in Tanzania. All of our guides are born and raised in Tanzania and are trained naturalists, environmentalists and unparalleled game spotters. Our passion extends to our U.S. offices, where we employ a staff that has lived, worked or traveled extensively in Tanzania and is committed to the protection of Tanzania’s natural resources.
