Imagine a soft breeze tiptoeing across your skin like a caressing whisper while you dreamily watch crystal Caribbean waves lap against the cliffs far below your cabana. Strong hands of a professional masseuse are kneading away the cares of yesterday and another world. Welcome to Sans Souci, the exclusive Couples’ Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Reach over, gently touch your partner, and smile. Toast the day and your pleasure with a sip of cool champagne. This is Sans Souci and you are on the holiday of a lifetime.

For lovers of all ages

In 1969, this 35-acre property of 150 ocean-view luxury suites, opened up as exclusive Mediterranean-style apartments for the well-to-do. Its present “life” as a sumptuous all-inclusive resort for couples only began in September 2005 when it became part of the family of Couples Resorts in Jamaica.

Whether it’s the award winning cuisine, the casually elegant ambiance of the four dining rooms, or the always-delicious beverages from the five friendly bars – no indulgence is left to chance at Couples Sans Souci. The hospitable General Manager, Pierre Battaglia, and his able lieutenants have trained the staff to the peak of efficiency.

Randy Russell, the “Chief Romance Officer” aka Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Couples Resorts claims, “ I am absolutely certain that Couple’s Resorts provide the best value in an all-inclusive vacation.” He will get no argument from us. We have had the pleasure of sampling his boast on two occasions – once at Tower Isle and then at Sans Souci. Each is different, but each is a bellwether of the changing couples-only experience that is in such great demand in today’s competitive vacation market.

Not all food and libation

Other couples only vacation resort packages rarely include the depth of complimentary activities enjoyed by Couples Resorts guests at Sans Souci or any one of the other three Couples Jamaica properties.

Some of the “all inclusive” amenities include a Honeymoon Package with a massage and champagne, a SCUBA diving resort course, Dunn’s River Falls tour, airport transfers, golf green fees – just to name a few. They keep you as busy as you want to be, or leave you to relax and unwind away your holiday.

A Wedding in paradise

Rock cliffs and terraced gardens covered in lush tropical flora overlooking a sandy beach in a small bay –all complete the perfect setting for a complimentary Sans Souci wedding. The specially trained wedding planners are ready to cater to every whim of those celebrating their nuptial day.

Spa and salon

One of the original allures of this beautiful location was its mineral springs. At the turn of the 20th century, the people of the small fishing village of Ocho Rios would soak in the springs for their curative powers. Today the magic of the mineral water is captured in one of four swimming pools at Sans Souci.

In addition to the complimentary mineral spring pool, Sans Souci offers a full array of salon services including hair and nail care, facial and body treatments, and special massages. All are available at competitive prices.

Sans Souci is French for ‘Without a Care.’ It is perfectly named, and we recommend it highly.
