LEntrecote Saint-Jean, Quebec City
A Parisian Style Bistro
Whether you are seeking a quiet lunch as you wander through the old city of Quebec or an elegant dinner for a special occasion, L’Entrecote Saint-Jean should be at the top of your list. It has long been a favorite of both tourists and locals.
This Parisian style Bistro in the heart of Old Quebec is both cozy and elegant. The brick walls and stone floors are softened by the snowy-white linens on the tables. Soft lighting complements and relaxes the patrons as they dine in comfort and splendor. During the summer months, guests may chose to dine on an outdoor terrace.
The specialty of the house is sirloin steak with a special sauce that has been a secret of the restaurant since the beginning. It is always cooked to perfection…from rare to well done (heaven forbid). It is accompanied by crisp, very thin French fries. Each meal begins with a delightful walnut salad and ends with a decadent dessert of chocolate profiteroles.
