A Culinary Experience in France
France Journeys
It is no secret that good food and wine are an integral part of any destination tour. That is why France Journeys has designed a few new tours focusing on the food and wines of Provence. These specially designed tour features hand selected vineyards and restaurants that will introduce you to the splendors of the Fall harvest season in Provence. These special tours are available only in September and October and will be limited to twelve persons for each tour.
During the week long tour you will visit a number of private vineyards and tastings led by local experts and owners. You will delight in some of the favorite local restaurants, enjoy the sun-drenched Provencal cuisine, markets and chocolate shops and olive orchards. In between tastings, vineyards and gastronomic adventures, you will tour the area to take in the regional sites.
You will have a chance to visit a number of quaint villages, medieval sights, roman ruins and picturesque vistas that are among the most beautiful in France. Accommodations will be divided between an 18th century Provencal farmhouse and a historic Avegnon hotel.
