Seeing new places, learning about cultures and seeing the sights has always been Charlene’s dream. Through her career Charlene has continued to grow and broaden her activities in her work/life interests. She has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a MBA from Nova University. Possessing a diverse background including work at the University of Florida, various hospitals and DBM, Inc., an international human resource company, Charlene’s focus was in the human resource and consulting arena. Coaching individuals in transition (who recently lost their job) into often new and different careers, Charlene used these skills in seeking a new career in the travel industry for herself. Always an avid traveler, Charlene is now involved in the travel business with a travel website and is a writer for Travelroads.com. Traveling with her husband, Richard, and sharing stories of their travels to give guidance, recommendations and entertain others is a new passion. From short jaunts in a locale to extended vacations, from self-guided trips to guided tours, from historical sites to active adventures, Charlene seeks a variety of destination and vacation experiences to share. She and Richard live in Oldsmar, FL. She welcomes suggestions and can be reached at mixaconsulting@msn.com.
